Instructions:
1. If you're using a hard-boiled egg, allow it to dry completely after boiling. If you're using a wooden egg, proceed to step 2.

2. Place the egg on a holder. If you don't have an egg holder or tray, you can place the egg in the carton as you work.
3. Dip the paintbrush into the chalkboard paint and brush a layer of paint onto the egg. Since the egg is sitting on a holder, paint only the area that you can reach. Allow this layer to dry.
4. Rotate the egg so that you can paint the area that you could not reach. Allow this layer to dry.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to add another coat of chalkboard paint to the egg.

6. When the final coat is dry, the fun begins! Use chalk to draw on each egg. You can draw shapes and designs, or just write names or fun Easter phrases on the egg. The best part about these eggs is that you can erase the chalk and draw another design. Treat it just like you would a chalkboard!
