ACROSS AMERICA — A doctor in Alabama, among the states with the lowest coronavirus vaccination rates, has said she has been begged for the vaccine by patients before their deaths.

Dr. Brytney Cobia of the Grandview Media Center said she’s admitting a rising number of “young healthy people to the hospital with very serious COVID conditions.”

“One of the last things they do before they're intubated is beg me for the vaccine,” Cobia said. “I hold their hand and tell them that I'm sorry, but it's too late." Read the story on Birmingham, Alabama, Patch
