Cashews Sold At Walmarts In 30 States Recalled For Undeclared Allergen

Great Value branded cashews sold at Walmart stores in 30 states were recalled this week because they may contain undeclared coconut and milk, which could lead to fatal allergic reactions.

The company said it recalled the cashews after a consumer said they found coconut cashews inside a container labeled as honey-roasted cashews. Investigators later found some honey-roasted cashew labels were applied to the plastic cans of coconut cashews during the manufacturing process, the company said.

The products were distributed to some Walmart stores in the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, West Virginia and via Walmart.com.

They were shipped to stores in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

Breakfast Burritos Recalled Due To Possible Listeria Contamination

Boiler Company Recalls Gas-Fired Hot Water Residential Boilers Due To Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Hazard

Gas-fired residential boilers with brand names U.S. Boiler, New Yorker Boiler, Advantage, FORCE and Archer were recalled this week after federal regulators said the unit could malfunction at higher altitudes, sending dangerously high levels of carbon monoxide into the home.

"The blocked vent switch (BVS) can fail to shut down the burners if the boilers are installed at altitudes above 5,400 feet and the vent system becomes blocked," the U.S. CPSC said. "In such an event, the boiler can emit excessive amounts of carbon monoxide into the home, posing a carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning hazard to consumers."

Jool Baby Nova Baby Infant Swings were recalled after federal regulators warned the swings have a steeper incline than allowed, which could lead to suffocation.

About 63,000 swings were included in the March 7recall. Safety inspectors said the swing also failed to meet warning requirements regarding sleep under the swing standard.

The swings were sold at Walmart stores and online at www.JoolBaby.com, www.amazon.com, www.babylist.com, www.target.com, www.walmart.com and other websites.

The units were sold at Honeywell-authorized installers and fire equipment distributors nationwide.
