The Funniest Things Kids Asked Santa For
Patch asked readers for the funniest thing their kid wanted for Christmas. Here are the craziest — and most hilarious — answers.

There are some items that you are fully expecting your kids to ask for this when Christmas roll around — the newest toy, that movie they can't enough of and maybe even the latest iPhone. Those are all great, but let's be honest — they're not all that exciting.
This year, we were on a hunt to find the funniest, most ridiculous things kids wanted to see underneath the tree Christmas morning. So, we asked our readers to submit their kid's requests from this year and years past, and they did not disappoint! If you're in need of a laugh, this list will do the trick.
A lifetime supply of Tostitos chips
An 8-year-old from Bel Air, Maryland had one very simple wish this Christmas: a never-ending supply of Tostitos. We wonder if he also asked for some salsa to go with it? Luckily, his parents pulled through and gave him about a dozen bags of chips on Christmas morning and he was thrilled.

Snow in the house
In Nashua, New Hampshire, snow is a common sight. But, usually not in the house. One little girl wanted to change that so she asked for it to snow inside for Christmas. Her parents bought fake snow, put it on a ceiling fan, and when she walked in the house, it was snowing! Best parents ever? We think so.
Spaghetti & meatballs
Izzy from Brick, New Jersey, got nervous when the mall Santa asked her what she wanted and the first thing that came out of her mouth was spaghetti and meatballs. Her parents came through, thankfully (with photo proof):

Laundry baskets
It's unusual, to say the least, that a 4- and 7-year-old would want anything to do with cleaning, but these two siblings from Lansdale, Pennsylvania asked Santa for shiny new laundry baskets. Interesting...
Scotch tape
A whole box of Scotch tape to himself is all this 4-year-old from Waukesha, Wisconsin, wants this year. Hopefully, he puts all that tape to good use.
Windex
Every year since she was 4, a girl from Homer Glen, Illinois, has asked for Windex (her own bottle) for Christmas. She's 10 now and it’s still at the top of her list. Last year, Santa brought the jumbo bottle from Costco and it was her favorite gift! Check out how happy she is.

A real, live unicorn
This request by a little kid from Stratford, Connecticut, might be a little tough to pull off...
A Big Mac
A young boy from Lindenhurst, New York, had a very simple Christmas wish: a Big Mac. His parents delivered and we think he wasn't really expecting them to.

A gondola
Don't worry, this 10-year-old girl from Livermore, California, has a good reason for wanting a gondola. She plans to use it to go from her house to her neighbor's five doors down. How cute.
A heated toilet seat
Comfort is key, even on the toilet — according to this 9-year-old from Severna Park, Maryland.
A live snowman that never melts
Where's Frosty when you really need him?! One little kid from Cartersville, Georgia, just wants a snowman that will never go away.
A screwdriver
It's not what you think! A 2-year-old boy from New Port Richey, Florida, wants a screwdriver for the sweetest reason. His mom was very pregnant at the time, and he wanted to give the screwdriver to his unborn baby sister to help her get out of mommy's stomach. If only it was that easy, kid.
A Nicolas Cage pillowcase
Very specific, and very odd. We wonder how this little kid from Marlborough, Massachusetts, came up with this one.
