Christmas 2017 Grocery Store Hours: List

Wondering where you can go for that last-minute shopping run over the Holidays? Here is a list of holiday hours for large chain stores, just in case you need to run out for food, drink, supplies or gifts at the very last minute.

Trader Joe’s
Stores will be closed on Christmas Day and will close at 6 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.

Whole Foods
Stores will be closed on Christmas Day and will open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. They will also open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on New Year’s Day.

Costco
Stores will be closed on New Year's Day and closed on Christmas.

Target
All stores will open at 7 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. or 11 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Stores will be closed on Christmas. On New Year’s Eve, all stores open at regular time — either 7 a.m. or 8 a.m. — and will close at 9 p.m. or 10 p.m. On New Year’s Day, all stores open at regular time and will close at 10 p.m., 11 p.m. or midnight.

Sam’s Club
Stores will be closed on New Year's Day and closed on Christmas.

Walmart
Stores will be closed on Christmas and open on regular hours on New Year’s Day.

Giant
Stores will close at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day. Stores will be open until 9 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and will reopen at 6 a.m. on New Year’s Day.

Harris Teeter
Stores will stay open until 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve and closed Christmas Day. Stores will operate on normal business hours on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

CVS
On Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, select CVS Pharmacy stores will be open and front store and pharmacy hours will vary by location. For a list of CVS Pharmacy locations in a given area, customers can go here. CVS pharmacies within Target stores will also be closed on Christmas Day.

Food Lion
Stores will close at 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will close on Christmas Day. All stores will be open during normal business hours on New Year’s Day.

Hy-Vee
All stores will close at 5:30 p.m on Christmas Eve and will remain closed on Christmas Day. Stores are open on normal business hours on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Publix
Stores are open on Christmas Eve, but hours may vary by location. Stores are closed on Christmas Day. Stores are also open on New Year’s Day, but closing times may also change based on location. Customers can go here to verify store hours.

ShopRite
Many ShopRite stores are independently owned and operated, so holiday hours will vary. ShopRite customers should check their local store's Facebook page or call the store to check holiday hours.

Marc’s
Stores will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day. They will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on New Year’s Day.

Kowalski's Markets
Stores will close at 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day. Store hours on New Year’s Day will vary based on location.

Lunds And Byerlys
Stores will close at 4 p.m on Christmas Eve and will remain closed on Christmas Day. Stores will be open on regular business hours on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Meijer
Stores will be closed on Christmas Day, and customers are encouraged to use the store locator for other holiday hours.

Mariano’s
Stores close at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day. Stores close at 9 p.m. New Year’s Eve and will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on New Year’s Day.

Jewel-Osco
Stores close at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will be closed Christmas Day. All stores close at 9 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and will be open on regular hours on New Year’s Day.
