Holiday Gift Wrapping Hacks: Wrapping A Gift Without A Box
If you're wrapping last minute and don't have a gift box on hand, try this wrapping technique.

Sometimes we don't have a nice gift box or even a gift bag on hand. When that happens, you can take your usual wrapping paper and turn it into a gift bag that looks just as nice. This works well with items like stuffed animals or toy cars that don't already have boxes.

What you'll need:
- Wrapping paper
- Scissors
- Tape
- Double-sided tape (optional)
- Hole punch (optional)
- Curling ribbon (optional)

1. Cut a piece of wrapping paper that's about 2 inches taller and wider than your gift.

2. Wrap the paper around the gift from side to side, then tape the center to secure it.
3. Using your fingers, flatten one open end of the gift wrap, then fold the edge over about 1 inch.

4. Fold the edge over about 1 inch again, hiding the edge of the gift wrap. Tape the end to secure. If you want your edges to look super neat, use double-sided tape inside the fold, hiding both the edge of the gift wrap and the tape.
5. Repeat steps 3-4 to flatten the opposite end of the gift.

6. To add an optional decorative touch, use the hole punch to punch a hole in each end of the folded edge, close to the edges.

7. Thread a length of ribbon through the holes, then tie the ribbon. Repeat on the opposite side, if you'd like.
