How Do You Talk To Neighbors About What Bugs You? [Block Talk Survey]
Most of us want to have cordial relationships with our neighbors. But when they do things that bug you, how do you talk to them about it?
ACROSS AMERICA — No one wants to be one of “those people,” the ones others dish on when putting together the definitive list of annoying neighbor traits.
Most of us want to have a polite or cordial relationship with people living closest to us, but good intentions aren’t always enough. We’ve all been thrown into nettlesome situations we want to handle in a way that won’t actively repel our neighbors, but we’re just not sure what to do — especially if we’ve never formally met.
How do you talk to a neighbor who bugs you or continually does something that irks you before it turns into a huge neighborhood deal? We’re asking for Block Talk, Patch’s exclusive neighborhood etiquette column. Just answer the informal survey below — and don’t worry, we don’t collect email addresses.
