Patch Pet Of The Week: Penelope

Get ready to meet one of the cutest pups around, Penelope!

Penelope, aka Penny, is a 5-year-old longhaired dachshund from Wakefield, Massachusetts. She is spunky and spoiled! She loves hiking and trips to the bakery. When can we hang out with Penny?!

First day home

You would think her first day home might have been scary for her, but Penny felt right at home. She was super playful and fell asleep playing with all of her toys.

Favorite treat

Penny loves her no-hide chicken chews from Polkadog.

Weirdest thing she ever ate

We all know our dogs love to eat food that falls on the floor. Penny isn't picky, apparently, because she once gobbled up a piece of frozen broccoli that fell on the floor.

Likes

Penny loves treats, balls and swimming. Another hobby of hers is destroying all of her toys.

Dislikes

She doesn't enjoy getting a bath. Penny is also afraid of strangers.

Funniest habit

Penny waits all day for her dad to come home from work, and when he finally does, she lets out a howl!

Favorite toy

She loves chasing around any kind of ball she can get her little paws on!
