Patch Pet Of The Week: Trotter

Brighten up your Monday by getting to know our newest pet of the week!

(Adrianna Sapra )

Introducing Trotter, our this week's featured pet!

Coming to you from Atlanta, Georgia, Trotter is an absolutely adorable 5-year-old puggle. She is an extremely active pup but also enjoys her mid-day naps. She might scare you with her menacing bark, but deep down, all she wants to do is smother you with kisses!

First day home

Trotter was only 8-weeks-old when she was bought home from a farm in South Georgia. She was barely bigger than her food bowl! She was really scared and wouldn't even eat out of her bowl for the first few days. The only way to feed her was if she at out of her owners' hands. This was probably when she realized she would take over as queen of the household!

Favorite treat

She loves greenies. But she isn't picky one bit and enjoys just about everything you give her.

Weirdest thing she ever ate

Trotter somehow got her little paws on samosas, which are Indian dumplings.

Likes

Trotter has a long list of things she enjoys! First on her list is food, then comes napping in the sun, chasing squirrels in the backyard, giving kisses, going for walks, visitors and popcorn!

Dislikes

No one likes failure, especially Trotter. She hates when she can't catch a squirrel in her backyard, or she fails to get the food she so desperately begged for.

Funniest habit

Trotter can sense a bag of popcorn being made from miles away. She also loves to bark at any animal, real or cartoon, that comes on TV.

Favorite toy

Tennis balls are her favorite toy, which makes her dad (an avid tennis fan) very proud. They are also the only toy that she doesn't manage to destroy in a matter of minutes.

'Trotter is the queen of the household'

Trotter really does have her owners under her paws, and they don't mind one bit!
