ACROSS AMERICA — Rock singer Meat Loaf, best known for his legendary rock opera album "Bat Out of Hell," has died. He was 74.
Born Marvin Lee Aday, he died Thursday, the family said in a statement released Friday by the star's agent. No cause of death was listed.
In addition to his 1977 “Bat Out of Hell,” Meat Loaf was well known for anthems including “Paradise By the Dashboard Light,” “Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad” and “I’d Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That).”
