Simple Stamped Easter Eggs
Bunnies, chicks, fun phrases — you can stamp anything you'd like in this too-easy stamped egg tutorial.

This simple stamped egg decoration can be applied to plain or dyed eggs. It's a great investment, too; buy a set of stamps once, and you can use them to decorate Easter eggs every year!
Since eggs are curved, it does take a little patience to ensure the entire stamp shows up on the egg. If you're working with kids, you might need to give them some hands-on help applying the stamp.

2. Choose an ink color. If you are working with a dyed egg, be sure the ink color will be visible on top of the dye. This Color Splurge Ink Pad Set comes with four shades of each color. You can use each hue individually or combine several colors on one stamp for a cool gradient effect.

3. Ink the stamp of your choice onto the ink pad color of your choice by tapping the stamp gently onto the pad several times. This will help avoid over-inking and smudging.
4. Stamp the egg, rolling the stamp from side to side and top to bottom to make sure the entire stamp is visible on the egg's surface.
5. Repeat steps 2-4 with more stamps if you'd like. If you're using the same stamp with different ink colors, be sure to wash the stamp with soap and water before stamping with the new color.
6. Wash all stamps with soap and water to clean them and prevent ink from clinging to the stamp. If you take care of your stamps, you can use them year after year to decorate Easter eggs.
