Three Arrested with Machine Guns, Body Armor at Holland Tunnel: Report
A car was stopped at the New Jersey side of the tunnel with a cache of weapons and armor early Tuesday morning, police said.
Three people were arrested Tuesday morning on the New Jersey side of the Holland Tunnel after the car they were riding in was discovered to hold a cache of machine guns, hand guns, body armor, knives and ammunition, according to an NBC4 report.
The people arrested include two men in their 50s and a woman in her 20s, according to authorities cited in the story.
Authorities are investigating whether those arrested are gun collectors, and the report says there is no known connection to terrorist activities.
