Tyler Perry Sells Mansion For Record Price
And Perry apparently made a pretty penny on it, too.

Actor, producer and director Tyler Perry sold his Atlanta home this week for $17.5 million, the most expensive residential real estate transaction in city history.
Perry's 34,688 square-foot villa went on the market nearly a year ago, last June, listed for $25 million.
One of the agents on the home signed a confidentiality agreement and could not give out the name of the buyer, MDJOnline reported.

The 7-bedroom, 14-bathroom mansion, located in Atlanta's swanky Buckhead neighborhood, has an impressive list of ameneties to say the least, according to the Zillow listing.:
- Infinity-edge swimming pool
- Full gym
- Lighted tennis court
- Home theater
- Hobby house
- Catering kitchen
- Backup generator
- Private security and guard house
Perry apparently made a pretty penny on it, too. The home last sold in October 2005 for $9 million.

The previous Atlanta residential real estate record was a Buckhead estate that sold for $10.5 million in 2009.
