Send Your Student off to College with Patch
Patch newsletter and smart phone apps are great ways for young scholars to keep up with news back home. And best of all, they're free!

As one of two associate regional editors with St. Louis Patch, I oversee seven sites -- Florissant, Hazelwood, Maryland Heights, St. Charles, St. Peters, O'Fallon and Wentzville.
I'm a huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues. I thoroughly enjoy anywhere I can get a craft beer -- Schlafly is my favorite! -- and listen to live music. I also spend way too much time agonizing over my fantasy baseball and football teams. Once, I thought Netflix was a dumb idea. Then I got it and immediately realized how awesome it is. I now regularly watch TV shows in bulk.
I live in Chesterfield with my wife, Alexis, and our dog Mowgli.
