Cydney is a Midwestern girl at heart. She was born and raised in Canton, Ohio, which was made famous by President William McKinley and is home of the Football Hall of Fame. She studied online journalism at Ohio University and spent some time working at washingtonpost.com, where she reported on issues in Loudoun County. Cydney stretched her journalistic muscles in Las Vegas, Nev., working as a breaking news and community reporter for the Las Vegas Sun. At the Sun, she covered everything from casino fires and plane crashes to political protests and former circus performers.

Cydney enjoys reading, taking pictures, comparing everything to "back in Ohio, we have …" and continuing her quest to build the worst music library in history.
