33 Westminster Students Named National Merit Semifinalists
The high school seniors will compete for 7,400 National Merit Scholarships worth approximately $32 million.

Born in Chicago, Justin Ove moved with his family to Georgia in 1992. Always a gifted writer, Justin was encouraged to pursue a writing career, be it as an author or newspaper reporter. A 2006 graduate of Northview High School in Duluth, Justin first attended Young Harris College then moved to Atlanta to study Journalism at Georgia State University.
After graduating in 2010 with honors, Justin began sending out resumes and building an online presence he hoped would attract hiring managers. In November, 2010, he was contacted and hired by Patch as a freelance contributor for Acworth Patch.
He has worked for Patch in various capacities since December, 2010. He became an editor in 2012.
