About my job at Patch:
Currently I am the local editor of Wrentham Patch and Seekonk-Swansea Patch. I post original and aggregated content to these sites to provide readers with the latest town news.
Another part of my job is to encourage readers to become active voices on various Patch sites. Whether you want to post an event, say Happy Birthday to a loved one through our Boards section or share your expertise via blog, I'm here to help.
Background:
Kelly graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth in 2006 with a degree in English with a concentration in communications and rhetoric. After graduation, Kelly was hired as editorial assistant for GateHouse Media, a community newspaper company. In addition to her journalism background, Kelly has also written several theater reviews for SOCO Magazine, a south coast Massachusetts oriented publication. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys reading, kayaking and doing other outdoor activities.
