Mark Micheli, Patch Staff

Mark is the regional editor for Patch in the Greater Boston area. He worked as a reporter and editor at several newspapers in the Greater Boston area including the Wakefield Daily Item, Malden Evening News, Medford Mercury, Melrose Free Press and the Boston Business Journal. He made the leap to the online world in 1995 at an experimental division of AT&T.  Since then he helped break new ground at online news and information sites, including Lycos,  Book of Odds and Boston.com. As news editor of Boston.com he directed the online newsroom's continuous coverage of some of the biggest news stories in New England and the nation.
