Lily, a 12th grade student, leads volunteer recruiting for the annual STEAMfest event.

Patch and T-Mobile are partnering to celebrate local 'Star Students' who make life better with contributions big and small.
"She's making a difference in her community and she's a kind, good person," says Sarah's mom.
"Leonie is an amazingly bright scholar. Although she is in the 8th, she is on a college level," says her mom.

"She is a pleasant, well mannered young lady who is ... an active member of her community, church and school," says Allie's grandmother.
Isabella, a college freshman, is committed to service and helping the community.
"Terrence is often praised by his teachers, coaches and others he meet for his outstanding character," says the star student's mom.
The high school freshman is a dedicated athlete and hopes to see baton twirling become an Olympic sport.
"He’s first to step up to help and share with any student," says his grandmother.
Natalie, an 11th grader, is also an outstanding athlete and regular volunteer with. Best Buddies Club.
"Landon is an excellent young man. He goes out of his way to help others and make a difference," says the school administrator.
"She believes there are more good people than bad in this world," says Ayla's proud grandmother.

Addison, a junior in high school, also gets praise from. her grandmother for her "great personality."
Miles' mother praises, "his grit, determination, unbelievable kindness to others."
"She has inspired her school and larger community to get involved and to embrace her efforts," says the CEO of her volunteer group.
