Rick is the associate regional editor for Patch in Morris, Somerset, Sussex and Passaic counties. He has been involved in the coverage of Morris County news for nine years and has lived in Northern New Jersey his entire life (save for his first year in the world). He graduated from Penn State University with a B.A. in journalism, a minor in English, and as the sports editor of the Daily Collegian. Before becoming associate regional editor for Patch in Northern New Jersey, Rick was the inaugural Madison Patch editor, which was the 17th Patch site in the country and the first in Morris County when it launched on Nov. 25, 2009. Before Patch, Rick was the sports editor at the Daily Record, where he was assistant sports editor before that. He has also previously covered minor league baseball and various professional sporting events. He is excited to help cover the Patch communities in northern New Jersey.
