The Day of Collective Action is set for March 22 and the planning committee is looking for volunteers to help staff the day’s events.

This campus-wide moment to reflect and act is designed to gather feedback from our University of Utah campus community members and identify ways to address racism, bias and discrimination. Specifically, we want to address the harm members of the Black community experience.

While specific plans are still being finalized, the day will include more than 20 events happening across campus and we are looking for people to volunteer as room attendants or small-group facilitators. Volunteers can staff single events so they can attend others, or volunteer for the full day. Training for facilitators will be provided.

Thank you in advance for your support, and we look forward to working alongside all who volunteer or participate in the Day of Collective Action events.

Sincerely,

Bryan Hubain, Day of Collective Action Committee co-chair
