She said they focused on keeping the child breathing.

"I was also praying another vehicle wouldn’t crash into those of us trying to help. So glad everyone slowed down so quickly," she said.

Park pleaded with drivers to drive slow on the slick roadways.

"Please be careful on the roads. I can’t put it into words yet what @jdubz66 and I just had to do at this multi-vehicle crash on I-15 in Ogden," Park tweeted. "My hands are smeared with a child’s blood and I’m shaking. Please, slow down."

Park posted photos showing at least three cars badly damaged in the wreck.

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for the region Wednesday morning.

The advisory, which remains effective until 11 a.m., warned of snow with additional snow accumulations of up to 2 inches in the Cache Valley, Northern Wasatch Front and Eastern Box Elder County.

"Occasional winter driving conditions can be expected, particularly prior to sunrise," the weather service said.

The highway patrol also warned drivers to use caution with "slick and icy conditions possible."

"Even when roads look clear there is always a possibility of ice so watch your speed and remember your seatbelt," the highway patrol said.
