Mount Mansfield Union HS Evacuated After Bomb Threat: Report

Students returned to class Tuesday after Vermont State Police searched the building after local authorities received the threat.

JERICHO, VT — A bomb threat prompted Mount Mansfield Union High School students and staff in Jericho to evacuate on Tuesday, according to a report by WCAX in Burlington.

The lockdown reportedly happened after the Essex Police Department received a robocall threatening of a bomb at the school, WCAX reported. Vermont State Police investigated the building but found nothing suspicious.

All students and staff have since returned to the school following an evacuation to Ethan Allen Range, according to WCAX.
