Two shot in Fairfax this morning (vermontdailychronicle.com) — Two people were seriously injured in an early‑morning shooting at a Fairfax apartment and were ultimately transferred to the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington for treatment. State police say the incident appears isolated among people who knew each other, but investigators and a heavy police presence will remain in the area while they gather more information.
