Here are the top three stories in Burlington today:
- Burlington Parks, Recreation, and Waterfront reports that there are plenty of seasonal jobs still available. The department is struggling to fill open positions — like the rest of the country. Click to view the full list of open positions. (WCAX)
- Burlington School District is reportedly in discussions with Beta Technologies to fill the funding gap for the high school construction project. The discussion is centered around potentially moving some of its technical programs to the company's planned South Burlington campus. The move would reportedly lower the cost of the project by about $20 million. (vtdigger.org)
- The Vermont State Police were able to safely recover a lost Waltham man in Burlington. Robert Companion went missing on Monday afternoon. He suffers from Alzheimer's Disease. Companion was eventually found in the area of Pearl Street and St. Paul Street on Tuesday morning. (WPTZ)
