Annandale Citizen Advisory Committee Meeting Schedule for 2013

Annandale residents interested in learning more about the issues affecting the community while interacting with local police officers can attend one of the monthly Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) meetings.

Three Fairfax County police stations serve the Annandale area: Mason, West Springfield, and Franconia District Stations.

Both the Mason and West Springfield District meetings are every first Tuesday of the month at the Mason District Government Center at 6507 Columbia Pike in Annandale and at the West Springfield District Station, located at 6140 Rolling Road in Springfield, respectively.

The Franconia District CAC meetings are every third Wednesday of the month in the Helen Wilson Community Room at the Franconia District Station located at 6121 Franconia Rd., in Alexandria. There is usually a special presentation or class at 6:30 p.m. held prior to the scheduled CAC meeting.

All CAC meetings begin at 7:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, the award for the 2012 Mason District Officer of the Year will be presented to MPO Joseph Millirons. Capt. Gun Lee and Lt. Archie Pollard will also give a "State of the District" report during the meeting. At the West Springfield meeting, Detective Dale Clark from the Polygraph Section of the Fairfax County Police Department will give a presentation.

There are no CAC meetings in July and August for Mason, Franconia, or West Springfield districts. If Fairfax County Public Schools activities are canceled for the evening due to inclement weather, the CAC meetings will be canceled.
