Sobriety Checkpoint Planned for Friday Night in Fairfax County
Police will be on the lookout for impaired drivers Friday night in the Mason Police District.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County Police announced Wednesday that there will be a sobriety checkpoint conducted Friday night, July 29 in the Mason Police District.
A sobriety checkpoint will take place Friday night, from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m., but police do not disclose the exact location beforehand. The Mason Police District is approximately 20 square miles.
It includes the areas south of Arlington Boulevard and north of Little River Turnpike. It contains Baileys Crossroads, Seven Corners, Mason District Park, Annandale and Fairfax Hospital.
