See Arlington Restaurants Nominated For Top Dining Award

The Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington announced finalists for the RAMMYs, the region's top restaurant and food service awards.

ARLINGTON, VA — Seven Arlington restaurants are among the finalists for the 2025 RAMMYs, the regional restaurant and food service awards held by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington.

The annual awards honor the accomplishments of the DMV's restaurant and food service community.

Astro Beer Hall was nominated in the Beer Program of the Year category. Specializing in fried chicken, beer and doughnut, Astro Beer Hall has two locations, one in Washington, D.C. and the other in Shirlington at 4001 Campbell Ave.

Queen Mother’s Kitchen, which is located in the Crystal City Shops at 1711 Crystal Drive, was nominated in the Hottest Sandwich Spot of the Year category.

Beauty Champagne and Sugar Boutique at 576 23rd Street South and South Fern St., was nominated in the Wine Program of the Year category.

Andy’s Pizza, which has 11 locations in D.C., Maryland and Virginia, was included in the Fast Casual Restaurant of the Year category. The home-grown pizza chain includes a Ballston location at 901 North Pollard St.

Stellina Pizzeria, Shirlington at 2800 South Randolph St., Suite 130 in Shirlington, was nominated in the Casual Restaurant of the Year category. There is also a Stellina pop-up restaurant near the Rossyn Metro at 1700 North Moore St.

Two people who operate restaurants in Arlington are RAMMYs nominees in the Restaurateur of the Year category.

Cici Yang runs three restaurants in the DMV, KYOJIN Sushi and Rimtang in the District, and Yume Sushi at 2121 North Westmoreland St. A-2 in Arlington.

The second Arlington nominee is Téa Ivanovic of Immigrant Food, which has four locations in the District and one in Ballston at 4245 North Fairfax Drive.

“Each year, the RAMMYS shine a light on the incredible talent, resilience and creativity that define our region’s vibrant hospitality industry,” said Shawn Townsend, RAMW president and CEO, in a news release. “This year’s finalists represent the heart of our community — from innovative entrepreneurs to the teams that deliver outstanding experiences.”

Although RAMW members will vote to choose the winners in a majority of categories, the public can cast ballots in these categories: Best Bar of the Year, Best Brunch of the Year, Hottest Sandwich Spot of the Year, and Favorite Gathering Place of the Year. Public voting will be open from May 1 to May 31.
