ACPD To Conduct Road Closures During Arlington County Fair

The fair will take place Aug. 17 - 21 at the Thomas Jefferson Community Center, which is at 3501 2nd Street South.

ARLINGTON COUNTY, VA — Expect a change in traffic pattern with the arrival of the upcoming Arlington County Fair.

The fair will take place from Aug. 17 - 21 at Thomas Jefferson Community Center located at 3501 2nd Street South.

The Arlington County Police Department will conduct the following road closure to accommodate the event:

  • From approximately 8 a.m. on Aug. 17 to 11 p.m. on Aug. 21, 2nd Street South will be closed between South Jackson Street and South Irving Street.

Drivers should be on the lookout for temporary “No Parking” signs, as street parking in the area will be restricted. Illegally parked vehicles may be ticketed or towed.
