Animal Welfare League Offers Cat Adoption Discounts Wednesday
Animal Welfare League of Arlington is offering adult cats for $20, while kittens under six months are buy one, get one, on Wednesday.
ARLINGTON, VA — Local humane society Animal Welfare League of Arlington is offering discounts on all cats at an adoption event on International Cat Day on Wednesday, July 11.
The shelter said their cat kennels are full, so residents can adopt an adult cat for $20 on Wednesday, which is also International Cat Day. Kittens under six months are buy one, get one.
Standard adoption policies and procedures apply. Interested buyers are asked to bring valid ID, proof of address and a cat carrier to bring home their new pet.

Animal Welfare League of Arlington rescues dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, rats and more.
The shelter is located at 2650 S. Arlington Mill Dr. Adoption hours are 12-7 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, as well as 12-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
