Arlington County Commonwealth's Attorney: Incumbent Runs Unopposed
The general election for Arlington County Commonwealth's Attorney and other races will be held in Arlington on Tuesday. Here's what to know.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County voters are casting ballots in the general election for commonwealth’s attorney of Arlington County and the City of Falls Church. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
In the June 20 Democratic primary, incumbent Parisa Dehghani-Tafti defeated challenger Josh Katcher. Dehghani-Tafti is seeking her second term in office.
Dehghani-Tafti, who is running unopposed in the general election, won 56 percent of the vote in the Democratic primary, compared to 44 percent for Katcher.

How to Vote on Election Day
Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 7. To check your polling place, visit the Virginia Department of Elections citizens portal.
To see a polling places, visit the Arlington County Department of Elections website. An acceptable form of identification is required to vote in person.

A Note On Early Voting
For those who requested a mail-in ballot, it must be returned in person by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 7 or postmarked on or before Nov. 7. The mail must be received by the Arlington County Department of Elections before noon on Friday, Nov. 10.
Mail-in ballots may be returned by mail, at drop boxes across the county, and on Election Day at polling places between 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
