Arlington Robbery Suspect Charged, 2 Robbery Suspects At Large: Police
Three separate robberies occurred in Arlington on Thursday and early Friday morning. The suspect in one robbery was arrested, police said.

ARLINGTON, VA — An Oakton man was charged with robbery in connection with an incident on Thursday at a business in the Rosslyn neighborhood of Arlington.
Emmanuel Hart, 27, was arrested and charged with robbery and possession of a controlled substance, according to the Arlington County Police Department.
Shortly after 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force in the 1500 block of Wilson Boulevard. Police learned that the suspect entered the business, collected merchandise, and attempted to leave the store without payment.

Security officers at the store confronted the suspect, who pushed them, dropped the merchandise and fled the scene on foot, police said.
Officers found the suspect in the Metro and took him into custody without incident. During a search, suspected drug paraphernalia was recovered on the suspect, according to police.

In a separate incident early Friday morning, police were dispatched to a business in the 2300 block of 2nd Street S. in the Penrose neighborhood for a report of an armed robbery.
Shortly before 1 a.m. on Friday, the male suspect entered the business, selected merchandise and displayed a knife before he left the store without payment and fled the scene on foot, police said.
No injuries were reported in the incident, according to police. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male wearing all black clothing.
In another incident, police were dispatched to the 4200 block of Fairfax Drive in the Ballston area Thursday morning for the report of an armed robbery.
Shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, a male victim was sitting outside when he was approached by the unknown male suspect. The suspect made threatening statements, implied a weapon, demanded the victim’s cigarettes and stole them before fleeing the scene on foot.
Officers established a perimeter and canvassed the area, but did not find the suspect. The suspect is described as a Black male in his 40s with a muscular-build, about 5-foot, 9-inches tall, 200 pounds with facial hair wearing a jacket, blue jeans and a beanie.
