Banana Split Day Returns With Free Ice Cream For All In Arlington

Amazon, Toby's Homemade Ice Cream and the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington are teaming up to celebrate Banana Split Day at Amazon HQ2.

ARLINGTON, VA — Banana Split Day is returning to the banana stand at National Landing on Monday, Aug. 25, at Amazon HQ2 in Arlington.

Amazon, Toby's Homemade Ice Cream and the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington are teaming up to present the free, family-friendly event.

Toby's Homemade Ice Cream will be giving out a complimentary scoop to each person who stops by the banana stand. Participants can then take their scoop to the build-your-own banana split bar nearby. The event will begin at 3 p.m. and run until the ice cream runs out.

Live music will be playing for people to listen to while they are enjoying their banana split and MoCA Arlington will be offering artful crafts for everyone to take part in.

This legacy event began at Amazon's HQ1 in Seattle and is a way for the company's neighbors to experience the iconic Amazon banana stand.
