Boy Robbed By Same Suspects 2 Days In A Row In Arlington: Police

A boy was robbed by the same suspects on consecutive days last week in the Courthouse and Rosslyn areas of Arlington, according to police.

ARLINGTON, VA — A boy was robbed by the same suspects on consecutive days last week in the Courthouse and Rosslyn areas of Arlington, according to police.

Police learned over the weekend that the juvenile male was in the area of 1500 block of Clarendon Boulevard in Rosslyn around 7 p.m. last Thursday when he was approached by three male suspects, who were known to him.

One of the suspects brandished a knife and made threatening statements, while a second suspect assaulted the juvenile and demanded his electronics, according to police. The suspects then left the scene with the stolen property. The boy did not need medical attention, police said.

Around the same time on Friday, the boy was in the area of 15th Street N. and N. Uhle Street in the Courthouse area when he was approached by the suspects from the incident the day before and about seven other people, according to police.

The suspect who assaulted him the day before stole the boy’s personal property and damaged his electronic device before the group left the area on foot. No injuries were reported in the second incident, police said.
