ARLINGTON, VA — Westover Library closed its doors Thursday at 2 p.m., after an employee reported they had been exposed to COVID-19, according to a post on the Arlington Public Library's website.

The library, which is located at 1644 N McKinley Road #3, will undergo a deep cleaning before it reopens on Monday morning.

All other APS branches will remain open until 7 p.m. on Thursday, before they close on Friday and Saturday for the New Year's holiday.

On Wednesday, APS announced that it was going to make a limited supply of Rapid Antigen At-Home Test Kits available for free to patrons Thursday at 12 noon at each of its branches. All 2,000 of the kits were distributed by 12:20 p.m., according to a post on APS' official Twitter account.
