Man Pulls Out Gun In Argument Over Parking Space On Columbia Pike

ARLINGTON, VA — A Stafford man faces several charges after pulling out a gun during a fight with another man over a parking space on Columbia Pike in Arlington, according to police.

At about 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Columbia Pike near Penrose Square. When police arrived, officers determined that two men had gotten into an argument over the parking space that escalated into a physical altercation.

At one point in the fight, the Stafford man, Zachary Sudbeck, 26, brandished a gun, police said. He then fled the scene in a vehicle and was found by responding Arlington County police officers. A gun was found in his vehicle, police said.

Sudbeck was arrested and charged with brandishing, assault and battery and concealed weapon violation, police said.
