CLARENDON, VA — Arlington County Police made an arrest in connection with a stabbing that took place Saturday night at a Clarendon restaurant, according to the daily crime report.

Officers responded around 7:33 p.m., for the report of a stabbing inside a restaurant in the 3100 block of Wilson Blvd. Arriving on the scene, they found a man suffering from a laceration and witnesses holding down a man they said had stabbed the victim. A preliminary investigation revealed the victim was sitting at the bar when they other man came up behind him and began hitting him with a sharp object, according to police. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

Police arrested Patrick Casey, 34, of no fixed address and charged with aggravated malicious wounding. Casey is being held without bail.
