Man Target Of Attempted Carjacking, Police Looking For Suspects: ACPD

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County police are looking for several suspects accused of a recent carjacking.
According to police, a patrol officer was flagged down by the carjacking victim along the 200 block of 18th Street South around 10:21 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said the victim was in his parked vehicle when a suspect approached his passenger side door.

The suspect demanded the victim unlock the car door and had what appeared to be a possible firearm in his pocket, police said.
The victim drove away at which time he observed two other possible suspects flee the scene on foot with the first suspect, police said.

Police said the first suspect is described as a Black man, approximately 6 feet in height, wearing a mask and a black hoodie. The second two suspects are described as Black men wearing all dark clothing.
No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
