MD Woman Wanted By 2 VA Jurisdictions Arrested In Pentagon City: Police
A 35-year-old Maryland woman arrested for fare evasion at the Pentagon City Metro station was already wanted in two Virginia jurisdictions.
ARLINGTON, VA — A Maryland woman wanted out of Prince William and Loudoun counties is facing an assault on police charge after attempting to flee police inside the Pentagon City Metro Station late Wednesday afternoon, according to authorities.
When officers tried to take 35-year-old Porscher Woodruff of District Heights, Maryland, into custody around 5 p.m., she kicked one of them in an effort to escape but ultimately failed to break free, according to the incident report. No injuries were reported.
During the investigation, officers determined that Woodruff was wanted out of the other two Virginia jurisidictions, police say. She was arrested ant charged with assault on police, obstruction of justice and fare evasion and was served with the outstanding warrants. Woodruff was then held without bond.

Woodruff was arraigned Thursday morning in Arlington General District Court and has a review hearing scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 9, according to court records. A preliminary hearing was also set for Jan. 13, 2026. As of 2 p.m. on Thursday, she was still listed as being in police custody.
The assault on a police officer charge is a Class 6 felony, which carries a potential sentence of one to five years in prison or up to 12 months in jail and a fine of up to $2,500, under the Code of Virginia. The two other charges are misdemeanors.

On March 3 Moore was arrested in Prince William County on a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery, according to court records.
The Prince William General District Court issued a warrant for Moore's arrest, after she failed to appear for a scheduled hearing on Monday and for violating a condition of her release in the assault and battery case, court records say.
In addition, a bench warrant for Woodruff's release was issued Nov. 21 in Loudoun General District Court after she failed to appear for a scheduled hearing in connection to a Nov. 11, 2023 arrest for tresspassing, court records say. .
