Panera To Hold Special Promotion For Opening Of New Arlington Location
Panera Bread is preparing to open a new location on Thursday near the Ballston MU Metro Station on Fairfax Drive in Arlington.

ARLINGTON, VA — Panera Bread is preparing to open a new location on Thursday near the Ballston MU Metro Station on Fairfax Drive in the Ballston neighborhood.
Panera previously operated a bakery and café in the Ballston Common Mall, which closed in 2016. The new location will be located at 4250 Fairfax Drive, two blocks from the previous Panera location.
Panera’s other current Arlington location is on N. Moore Street, next to the Metro station in Rosslyn.

The grand opening of the new Ballston location, which has “a bright and airy urban design,” will be celebrated with a special promotion for customers. On Thursday and Friday, beginning at 6 a.m. on both days, the first 50 customers will receive a year’s worth of free “You Pick Two” meals and a free tumbler.
A "You Pick Two" deal allows customers to select any combination of two half size entrées from the Panera menu, including soups, salads, sandwiches and more.

Also, on both Thursday and Friday, all customers who visit between 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. will have a chance to spin a prize wheel to win free tumblers, cookies, bagels and more.
“We are thrilled to opening a new Panera in Arlington,” Panera Area Operating Partner Abenet Geberagzabher said in a statement. “We are excited to grow our presence in this wonderful community and look forward to delivering the great tasting food and impeccable service our Virginia guests have come to expect from Panera.”
The new location at 4250 Fairfax Drive will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
