Pet Of The Week: Merlin, An Affectionate Dog Who Loves Playing, Walks

The Animal Welfare League of Arlington is helping Merlin, a 44-pound dog who loves playing and going for walks, find a family he can love.

ARLINGTON, VA — Although he is a senior, Merlin is an energetic, fun-loving and affectionate dog.

Merlin loves toys and tennis balls. His foster family tells the Animal Welfare League of Arlington that he likes playing in the yard and going for walks. He is quite strong, so walks are best with a harness that offer better control.

When resting, Merlin likes to be near you or know where you are. He responds to basic commands.
