ARLINGTON, VA — Nisha, a black female short-haired cat, goes by many names, according to her foster mom with the Animal Welfare League of Arlington.

You can call her "Neesh," "The Neesh," "Neeshie," or "Neeshie Peeshie." But, whatever you call this sweet doll, she'll curl right next to you in bed and stay there all night.

Here's what else the foster had to say about Nisha:

"Even though she is a senior gal, at only 6 pounds she looks like she is still a kitten! She has silky black fur and a tiny little black nose. In other words, she's just perfect. She loves soft pets under her chin and around her ears. She doesn't love to be picked up yet but she does love to sit next to me while I work and cuddles up with me at night. I think with a bit more time she will start to enjoy toys even more. She has started to show a little bit more interest in my feather toy and her toy mouse!”
