Wrong Place, Wrong Time In Stafford
Three people in the wrong place at the wrong time exacerbated their bad luck by trying to drive away from investigating officers one evening in the Washington Square Plaza parking lot. Two of these individual were charged with possession of controlled substances and possession of paraphernalia, while the third was charged with public intoxication.

A body was found late Monday morning along a creek bed near the 7500 block of Ben Lomond Park Drive, according to Prince William County Police. The remains, found around 11:30 a.m. during a canvass of creek bed, were taken to the medical examiner's office for further examination and identification.

According to Prince William County Police, four juvenile males were arrested Saturday night after assaulting and robbing two teenagers in the area of Georgetown Road and the River Oaks Apartments. All four people arrested are from Woodbridge. Two are 15, one is 16, and one is 17. Authorities believe the attack was gang-related.
Arlington Ranks High on Top 100 Best Places to Live
Arlington has ranked 19th on Livability.com's list of the Top 100 Best Places to Live. The study says Arlington's perfect blend of both urban and suburban make it one of the most highly desirable places to live in the Washington, D.C. area. Arlington's top-rated school district, robust arts scene, growing economy and high health scores helped it earn a spot in the list's top 20. In addition, residents say they love the area's mix of both urban and suburban feels. Five other Virginia communities were also ranked.
Bears On Prowl in Prince William County
Hibernation is done, and area bears are on the prowl for nourishment, as evidenced by a number of sightings in the western part of Prince William County. The Animal Control Bureau released a set of safety tips, which include removing food sources that might attract hungry bears and avoiding the storage of trash in vehicles and on porches.
