Police: Woman Punched in the Face for Cellphone

A woman was punched in the face this weekend and robbed of her cell phone, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

The woman was walking at about 7:35 p.m. Saturday down the 2100 block of South Jefferson Davis Highway when she was attacked, according to the police department.

The victim's injuries were minor and did not require a trip to the hospital. She told police the robber was about 30 years old, wore a black leather jacket, white hat and white gloves.
