2 Burglaries Lead To Charges For 32-Year-Old Man In Fairfax

FAIRFAX, VA — A 32-year-old man was arrested in connection to two recent burglaries at businesses just east of Fairfax City border and in Annandale, according to the Fairfax County Police.

On Sunday, around 7:12 a.m. officers responded to a business into 9400 block of Mathy Drive in Mantua to investigate the report of a commercial burglary that occurred on Saturday.

Around 2:48 p.m. on Sunday, a business in the 7200 block of Little River Turnpike in Annandale reported that a man had stolen merchandise from the business. Searching outside, the officers located the suspect, whom police identified as Matthew Fisch of an unknown address. The officers recognized Fisch as the man who burglarized the business in Mantua the day before.

Fisch was arrested and charged with burglary and petit larceny. He was then held without bond at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
