1 Death Reported From 2-Alarm Fire In Kings Park West

FAIRFAX, VA — One of the four people hospitalized following a two-alarm house fire early Saturday has died, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue, according to a authorities.

One Fairfax County firefighter and three other civilians were also injured, but no updates were provided on their conditions.

Fire personnel from both Fairfax County and the City of Fairfax were on the scene in the 5400 of Guinea Road in around 3 a.m., according to a social media post.

County firefighters reported seeing flames coming from the back of a the home, according to ABC7 News. Two people were rescued from inside the home and the fire was eventually brought under control.

Two civilians and one firefighter were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. On Monday afternoon, the fire and rescue department reported that the third civilian who'd been hospitalized with life-threatening injures had died, according to a post on the department's X accont.
