Alleged Filming of Male Students in Restroom: Student Faces Charges, Police Say

A Fairfax High School student, 20, was charged with possession of child pornography, according to police.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA -- Fairfax City Police say that a student at Fairfax High School was arrested and faces charges after allegedly secretly filming male students in the restroom stalls.

On Thursday, police say the school resource officer conducted an investigation into a complaint by school administrators that a male student had been secretly filming other students.

As the result of investigation, Phatsakorn Pongpasit, 20, of Snughaven Lane in Fairfax, a senior attending the school, was taken into custody and transported to the Adult Detention Center, police said.

He was charged with possession of child pornography and unlawful creation of image of another, according to police. He was ordered held without bond.
