UPDATE: Dog Who Bit Jogger Located
The victim and local authorities were eager to locate a dog who seriously bit a jogger Monday, before he had to undergo post-rabies treatment.
UPDATE: City of Fairfax Police said Thursday that the dog who bit a Fairfax City jogger Monday has been located, and its owners identified.
At the present time, the bite victim has not pressed charges against the dog's owners.

The City of Fairfax Police Department's Animal Control Division is searching for a local dog who recently bit a jogger - and they're in a big hurry.
Authorities say that without verification that the dog has had its rabies shots, the victim will be forced to undergo unpleasant post-rabies treatment as a precaution.
According to authorities, the incident took place Monday near the path that connects Farr Croft and the back fields of Daniel's Run Elementary in Fairfax City.
The dog is described as a brown, black and white Labrador mix, weighing approximately 45 to 55 pounds.
The dog was being walked by an Asian male believed to be around 17 to 19 years old, accompanied by what appeared to be his younger brother of around 12 to 14 years old, who was walking a white poodle. The younger brother wore glasses.
Authorities said the larger dog "broke away from its owner and bit the jogger, without hesitation, leaving several serious bites and lacerations."
A notice sent out by authorities said, "The victim will not press charges - he simply does not want to go through [the post-rabies treatment] ordeal."
Anyone who may have seen anything or believes they may know the two boys and dog in question is urged to contact the police department's Animal Control Division at 703-385-7919.
At the present time, the bite victim has not pressed charges against the dog's owners.
