Dump Truck Dispute Ends in Alleged Assault: Police
Two dump truck drivers were in a dispute when one allegedly hit the other in the leg, according to Fairfax City Police.

FAIRFAX CITY, Va. — A dispute between two dump truck drivers ended in an alleged assault, according to Fairfax City Police.
The victim, 29, told officers that he was driving Friday morning in the area of National Asphalt on Old Pickett Road when he got into a dispute with the driver of another dump truck.
The other driver allegedly approached the victim's truck, opened the door and struck him in the leg, according to police.

The victim did not require medical treatment.

Other incidents, as reported by Fairfax City Police:
Vandalism: 4361 High Oak Lane / Madison Homes Construction Site – On July 8 at 1:49 PM the project manager reported that sometime after 7:00 PM on July 7 unknown person(s) had entered the home under construction and damaged a new oven.
Larceny: 10401 Eaton Place / Henry’s Towing – On July 8 at 3:03 PM an employee reported that an unknown male subject whose vehicle had been towed came to the lot and drove the vehicle away without paying for the tow.
DUI Arrest: Lee Highway / Fern Street – On July 9 at 2:59 AM an officer investigating a motor vehicle crash determined that one of the drivers involved was intoxicated. William Carl Patterson, 24, of 2814 Kelly Square, Vienna, was transported to the Adult Detention Center where he was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and issued a summons for unsafe lane change. His bond was set at $2000.
Shoplifting: 11200 Fairfax Boulevard / Giant Food – On July 9 at 7:21 AM the manager reported that an employee had observed a male subject loading his vehicle with merchandise from the store which had not been paid for. The suspect then drove away from the parking lot. The Patrol Division is investigating the case.
DUI Arrest: 10300 Block of Shiloh Street – On July 9 at 11:44 AM an officer responding to a report of a vehicle being operated erratically determined that the driver was intoxicated. Vladimir Ivan Perez, 43, of 12204 Grassy Hill Court, Fairfax, was transported to the Adult Detention Center where he was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and his bond was set at $4000
