Fairfax City Election Results In Tuesday Night

FAIRFAX CITY, VA -- Voters in Fairfax City have re-elected Mayor Scott Silverthorne.

Silverthorne won the election Tuesday with 57.8 percent of the vote. Challenger Thomas A. Ammazalorso earned 41.52 percent of the votes in the match-up.

Also Tuesday, voters elected six members to the City Council. Unofficial results from the State Board of Elections; top six vote-getters elected to City Council:

• Nancy Fry Loftus: 1,818/13.44%

• Jon R. Stehle, Jr.: 1,862/13.76%
• Write In: 82/0.61%
